Andrea and his team are I would say one of the best guides you can find in Rome. We had the opportunity to have the Colloseum and Roman forum tour with Anna. She is really a great guide who is very kind and takes great care of the entire group. The group was not very big just 10 folks including us.Anna really knows her stuff about Roman history and we really enjoyed the entire trip with her. She explained all our questions and had really nice visual aids with her iPad and made the trip more interesting. The trip was really well paced and Anna was very kind to let us borrow sunscreen and waited for whenever we were unable to continue due to the unbearable heat. She had the trip planned really great and had stopped at numbeof water fountains making the trip quite comfortable and relaxing. Busy times The Colosseum is very crowded on Bank Holidays such as Easter, May Day and Christmas, as well as in summer. The only way to avoid this is to plan your trip to Rome during the low season (November to March). If you are in Rome at holiday times and decide to visit the Colosseum, your patient and positive attitude will help the guide, and indeed the whole group, enormously. We will do our best to ensure that waiting times are as short as possible, and the tour as comfortable as it can be, whilst at the same time keeping it interesting.
